How Does Renuvion Work?

Renuvion is a truly innovative, precise procedure that can produce outstanding results. After the Liposuction procedure, Renuvion is used as a finishing effect to tighten and tone the skin. How it works: The handheld device is inserted between the outer layer of skin and the underlying muscles. It delivers helium gas and radiofrequency (RF) energy, which converts to plasma. Renuvion quickly heats to the ideal temperature to shrink the skin tissue in the targeted areas, revealing a more toned and youthful appearance. Then the tissue is cooled in less than one second. The Liposuction with Renuvion Procedure

This procedure completely avoids surgery. Only small nicks (“freckle indents”) in the skin (no stitches) and a tiny injection cannula are needed. Depending on the number and size of the areas, the procedure lasts approximately three hours, and steps include:

  • A saline solution containing a local anesthetic is infused on the area to be treated so that patients stay comfortable.
  • Next, a very small 3-5mm incision is made in the skin. A tiny cannula (tube) delivers a precise stream of energy underneath the skin and directly into the fat cells. This causes the fat cells to burst, and the fat is gently suctioned out of the body. Heat from the device results in less bleeding, swelling, and bruising. It causes you to heal faster, and there are no stitches.
  • During the Renuvion skin tightening procedure, the Renuvion wand is inserted beneath the skin through the small incisions. The wand emits helium gas and radiofrequency energy, which contracts collagen in your skin and tones remaining fat deposits.

I recently had smart lipo and a bbl in November 2024. This procedure was done by Dr, Kwak. I am more than pleased with my overall results and finally have the body I always wanted . The surgery itself wasn’t bad at all with minimal discomfort. The entire staff was courteous and friendly. I always felt welcomed and that I was in good hands. The Recovery Process

The recovery process for the Liposuction with Renuvion procedure is fairly short, with most people only taking 3-4 days off from work. Mild associated discomfort and bruising are common. A compression garment must be worn over the areas where the fat was taken for one month. Recovery time is much shorter with Renuvion compared to more invasive procedures.
