Natural Breast Enhancement in Philadelphia, PA

Is your goal to make your breast bigger and beautiful? A natural breast enhancement can accomplish both, bringing more balance to your figure and improving symmetry.

Women are often concerned that a breast enhancement will look unnatural or “fake.” Augmentation via fat transfer makes the breasts look and feel as natural as possible. Fat is soft, organic and enduring, especially compared to artificial implants. A natural breast enhancement is a great choice if you’re seeking a moderate increase in size and want to avoid implants.

What Is Natural Breast Enhancement?

Natural breast enhancement provides a double benefit: New breasts and a slimmer you!

It is a minimally invasive procedure using gentle liposuction to take fat from unwanted areas (usually the abdomen or love handles) and then transferring it to the breasts to achieve a natural, uniform and smooth appearance.

The Natural Breast Enhancement Procedure

Natural Breast Enhancement completely avoids surgery and is a minimally invasive procedure. Only small nicks (“freckle indents”) in the skin (no stitches) and a tiny injection cannula are needed. Local anesthesia is administered, similar to what is provided at a dentist office. Recovery time is fairly short with most patients back to work after 3-4 days.

The procedure lasts approximately four hours and steps include:

Frequently Asked Natural Breast Enhancement Questions

Fat transfer makes the breasts look and feel as natural as possible because it is soft, organic and enduring, especially compared to artificial implants. Silicone and saline implants will likely need a revision every 10 years. Fat transfer also leaves little to no scarring and has a short recovery time, whereas implants require open surgery. A slimmer donor site (usually the flanks or abdomen) is an added benefit to a fat transfer breast enhancement. In addition, fat transfer is generally considered safe because it uses your body’s own tissue.

Using fat transfer, natural breast enhancement can usually enlarge the breasts up to one cup size.

Dr. Andrew Kwak, founder of The Lumen Center, will provide a full consultation to discuss your goals, plan and vision to achieve the best results possible. After reviewing your medical history, he will perform an examination, identify potential areas from which to extract the fat and discuss expectations. You will receive detailed instructions on how to prepare for your procedure and what to expect during and after the Natural Breast Enhancement procedure.

The Natural Breast Enhancement procedure is performed on an outpatient basis in The Lumen Center office in Bryn Mawr, PA.

The breasts will fluctuate in size for a few weeks as things equilibrate and will usually reach full maturity at 3 – 4 months. In many cases, results of fat transfers can last indefinitely once the fat has settled because it is now a part of you living in a new area. Keep in mind, though, that fat transfers do not protect against future aging and patients may notice results slightly diminish over time.

The Recovery Process

The recovery process for a Natural Breast Enhancement is fairly short with most people only taking 3-4 days off from work. Mild associated discomfort and bruising is common. A compression garment must be worn over the areas where the fat was taken for one month.

Lumen Center patients are carefully monitored post-procedure and at regular checkpoints for up to a year.
