Lipo 360 in Philadelphia

Getting the sexy curves and sleek figure you’ve always wanted is possible with Lipo 360! It’s an increasingly popular minimally-invasive liposuction procedure for patients in and near Philadelphia. Also known as circumferential liposuction, Lipo 360 is used to contour and shape the entire midsection – the abdomen, love handles, and lower back. At LUMEN, we use laser-assisted liposuction, to reduce stubborn fat and tighten the skin. When applied around the body on the front, back, and sides of the midsection, the Lipo 360 body contouring procedure produces a balanced and proportionate appearance. Our founder and cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Andrew Kwak, combines his technical skills and artistry to accentuate your natural curves and give you a dramatic result.

What Areas Can I Address with Liposuction 360?

360-degree liposuction targets three areas – the abdomen, love handles, and lower back. Previously, these areas were considered separate, but now they can be treated in one procedure. Some surgeons may define the areas differently, so you’ll want to confirm specific areas of the body that will be addressed. Lipo 360 may be combined with other cosmetic procedures for a mommy makeover, which can include a natural breast augmentation and a Brazilian Butt Lift. Liposuction on other areas of the body (such as the arms, thighs, upper back, chin and neck) may also be performed during your Lipo 360 procedure.

What to Expect During the Lipo 360 Procedure

360 Lipo is an outpatient procedure, so you’ll be back home the same day. We start the procedure by infusing the treatment area with a local anesthetic to make you feel comfortable. Then, we make a very small 3-5 mm incision in your skin (no larger than the size of a freckle). A tiny cannula (tube) containing a fiber is inserted directly into the fat cells. The laser energy helps to loosen the fat cells and causes them to burst for easy fat removal. Then, the liquified fat is gently suctioned out of the body. The amount of fat removed varies by person but could be up to 90% of subcutaneous fat.

It’s important to note that the laser used in the Lipo 360 procedure offers several benefits. It cauterizes blood vessels, which helps stop bleeding, and results in less bruising and swelling. The heat from the laser increases collagen production, tightening and smoothing the skin. The small incisions used for the cannulas mean you can expect little to no scarring and no sutures.

What Is Lipo 360 BBL?

If you want a shapelier, more toned midsection and a fuller bottom, Lipo 360 BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) can help you achieve that vision. A BBL is a fat transfer procedure that repurposes the fat harnessed during your Lipo 360 procedure. The benefit of combining these procedures is that it sculpts the waistline and gives you that beautiful S-shaped curve. Lipo 360 with BBL provides more definition between the waistline and buttocks, highlighting your natural contours and best features.

Liposuction 360 FAQs

Since Lipo 360 is a minimally invasive procedure and you’re given local anesthesia, downtime for Philadelphia patients is minimal – typically just a long weekend for recovery. We’ll provide specific aftercare instructions and follow-up care at regular intervals to ensure you get the best results and heal quickly. You will need to wear a compression garment one month after your procedure.

An ideal Philadelphia candidate for Lipo 360 is close to their ideal body weight and wants to address excess fat deposits that persist even with diet and exercise. If your BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9, you are an ideal candidate. However, if you are within 20-30 pounds of your ideal weight (typically under a BMI of 30), you could also experience good results from 360-degree liposuction. You should be in good health and have good skin elasticity. It’s important to note that Lipo 360 is not a solution for weight loss.

Once the swelling goes down, you may start to see results within one week. Full results are expected within 4-6 months when the skin reaches optimal tightening.

Traditional liposuction is an invasive surgical procedure performed under general anesthesia and comes with some risks and increased side effects. In addition, traditional liposuction doesn’t tighten the skin. SmartLipo 360 uses more advanced methods to remove fat and provide skin tightening benefits. Since it’s a minimally invasive procedure, SmartLipo Philadelphia results in fewer side effects and a shorter recovery time.

A tummy tuck (also known as abdominoplasty) is an invasive procedure where a doctor makes an incision from hip to hip, pulls together and stitches the abdominal muscles. In the process, excess skin and fat are removed to produce a flatter-looking tummy. A tummy tuck may be a good option if you need to remove loose skin.

On the other hand, Lipo 360 is a less invasive procedure to remove excess fat. Unlike a tummy tuck, SmartLipo 360 does not remove excess skin. However, LUMEN offers Renuvion skin tightening in Philadelphia, referred to as the “nonsurgical tummy tuck.” Renuvion uses plasma energy to shrink the skin and is an excellent option if you have mild to moderate sagging skin due to aging or weight loss. In any cases, you can experience tummy tuck results with Renuvion and laser liposuction without a surgical procedure.

Reducing fat in your midsection offers health benefits as well. Research suggests that abdominal fat is linked to an increased risk of insulin resistance and diabetes. In addition, when you have a strong and toned midsection, it can help improve balance, stability, posture, and decrease your risk of back problems. For many of our Philadelphia patients, a liposuction procedure helps renew a healthy lifestyle of regular exercise and good eating habits.

The cost of 360 Lipo depends on the number of areas targeted and any additional procedures performed. Also, the price can vary if you want Renuvion Skin Tightening or other procedures performed, such as a Brazilian Butt Lift. At The Lumen Center, the pricing is very competitive and all-inclusive, covering everything associated with your procedure, aftercare, and post-procedure follow-ups during the first year after your procedure. We suggest scheduling a complimentary consultation to get a customized plan and detailed quote. In addition, we offer a variety of financing options to make your procedure affordable.
