How Does the MyEllevate Neck Lift Work?

Also known as a zoom lift, MyEllevate is a nonsurgical neck contouring procedure to tighten and lift the skin in the neck area. MyEllevate™ uses the ICLED™ light guided suture suspension system to accurately place permanent sutures beneath the skin’s surface. Small, strategically placed punctures are made below the jawline. The surgeon uses of a fiberoptic lighted rod (working like a lighted needle and thread) to bring the muscles together. These sutures create a support sling within the underlying skin, platysma muscles, fat, and neck glands without surgically opening the area. This placement lifts your neck and jaw in a firmer, sculpted contour and provides the missing structure that has been weakened and lost with age.

This nonsurgical neck lift procedure is quick and usually takes around an hour to complete.

A facelift focuses on the upper and lower areas of the face, whereas MyEllevate is a procedure that involves rejuvenation of the neck. At LUMEN, we offer the Lumen Lift, a minimally invasive facelift that tightens the jowls, chin, and neck areas while transferring fat to restore lost volume in the upper face. We also offer a mini facelift, a facial plastic surgery procedure designed to tighten the lower face, soften jowls and the nasolabial folds, restore volume, and smooth facial wrinkles.

While the MyEllevate procedure can’t remove excess skin or fix a loose platysmas muscle, it can significantly improve early signs of chin and neck aging to make the chin and neck appear much tighter and defined.

MyEllevate uses a permanent and strong braided polyester suture to firmly support the underlying muscles, glands, and fat beneath the skin firmly keeping them lifted and in place. Results are long-lasting over several years. On the other hand, thread lifts are more temporary as they slowly dissolve over time and need to be repeated every 1-2 years.

Many patients see significant results to their neckline immediately after the MyEllevate procedure. However, you should see your results continue to improve in the weeks after your treatment as well, with full results appearing 4-6 months after your procedure.

Because the sutures are designed to remain in place, the results can last for many years.

MyEllevate Recovery Process

MyEllevate is a minimally invasive procedure, translating to minimal recovery and downtime. Most Philadelphia area patients will experience rapid healing and minor bruising and swelling due to minimal tissue trauma.
