The Natural Brazilian Butt Lift Procedure
Natural Buttocks Augmentation is a minimally invasive procedure that enhances the shape and volume of your buttocks. Only small nicks (“freckle indents”) in the skin and a tiny injection cannula are needed. With no large incisions, you won’t need stitches, which leaves little to no scarring. We provide local anesthesia, similar to what a dentist’s office provides, so you can communicate with your care team throughout your procedure.
A BBL is a safe, two-step procedure that lasts approximately two hours and includes the following steps:
- After starting the procedure with anesthesia to numb the treatment areas, Dr. Kwak uses gentle liposuction to harvest unwanted fat from a donor area (typically the abdomen or love handles). The buttocks region has a high concentration of muscle content and blood supply, leading to an excellent fat transfer survival rate. Depending on your goals, we may harvest fat from more than one area to collect the amount of fat needed for the best possible enhancement.
- During the fat transfer process, Dr. Kwak precisely injects the high-quality fat into the buttocks in tiny, discrete amounts to sculpt your bottom. This technique requires artistry to achieve a uniform, smooth, and rounder butt. Your results will be natural-looking and symmetrical with your overall body shape. You’ll look transformed but never “plasticized” or overly exaggerated.
- Once the procedure is complete, we’ll apply a compression garment to minimize swelling and bleeding. You’ll also receive detailed post-procedure care instructions and a schedule of follow-up appointments to ensure your healing is progressing.
